Fusion: Transitional workshop
In 1993, Susan Edgerley started a program for DEC graduates. A business incubator allowing members to start their careers, develop products and polish their marketing skills.

For two years, Fusion members benefit from these advantages:

• Reduced studio rental fees
• Administrative and technical support
• Developing business skills
• Experience of working in, budgeting for and running a studio

Fusion is an important step for all emerging glass artists in their professional careers. To this day, about forty emerging glass artists have benefited from this program.


Espace VERRE is a non-profit organisation that operates with municipal and provincial subsidies. Nonetheless, we are always searching for private funds to develop initiatives such as Fusion. If you admire glass and would like to encourage emerging glass artists, please consult this document.
